StillHuman is a calm corner of the internet to be yourself without being judged. It’s a lifestyle app for humans being human: a few real people, a journal, small daily adventures, and a little chill time.

Why we built it

Phones are full of contacts, and yet plenty of us have nobody to call on a quiet Tuesday. Friendship was never about more people. It’s the same few faces, week after week, until they’re yours. Social media gave us audiences; StillHuman gives you a small table.

What you can do here

Be part of a small circle

About six people in the same chapter of life as you: just moved, new job, starting over, new parent, back in town. Matched on where you are in life, the ages you’d like and what you’re into. The same people every week, with one gentle question a day.

Keep a journal that feels like paper

Write or speak, add photos between the lines, choose a handwritten style and drag on stickers. It’s private to you. When you feel like sharing, turn a page into an Instagram Story, a picture or a PDF.

Take tiny quests

Four quick photo prompts a day, like the sky right now or something green. A few seconds each, they get you looking up and out of your head. Finished days become postcards; weeks become little stories.

Talk, only when you want to

An always-open circle room for voice, with video if you like, encrypted and never recorded. Care Notes to one person at a time, encrypted, and only once both of you say yes.

Talk it out with Mate

Mate is an AI friend for members 18 and over. It remembers what matters to you, checks in, and nudges you back toward your people. It always says it’s an AI.

What we’re not

Not therapy. StillHuman isn’t a mental health service. If things feel too heavy, we point you to people trained to help. Not a feed. No likes, no follower counts, no ads, and we never sell your data.

Who it’s for

Anyone 16 or over who wants a little more human in their days. People aged 16 and 17 are only ever matched with each other, and AI features open at 18.

Safety and privacy

• Care Notes are encrypted with a key unique to each conversation.
• Calls are encrypted end to end and never recorded.
• Your journal and quest photos are private to you.
• Unkind words are filtered, slurs are blocked, and anyone can be reported or blocked.
